How the Outwow guides are made: who writes them, how we test the templates, where the sample photos come from, and what we do when we get something wrong.

Who writes the guides
Guides are published by Outwow Studio, the team that builds Outwow. We sign them as the studio and don't publish under invented names. We draft with the help of AI writing tools. Before a guide goes live, a separate fact-check compares every price, number and claim about the product with the product itself.
How we test
Every example comes from a real run of the template it names, through the same templates you use. We use the same inputs across templates so results can be compared, and we look at likeness, hands, text on posters and whether the result matches the template. Each guide with examples says the date of the runs, the quality setting, how many runs we made and which one is shown, and one thing that didn't work.
Where the sample photos come from
The people in our examples are AI-generated sample adults made for the test, and each one is labelled as an AI-generated sample. Pets and drawings are made and labelled the same way; drawings are made in a child's style. We never use photos of children, and we don't use stock photos of real people. Photos you upload to Outwow are deleted automatically within 24 hours and never appear in guides.
How we label AI images
Captions say which template made each image. The example images in our guides are served as the original files, and those files carry the IPTC digital source type “trained algorithmic media” in their metadata, the standard label for AI-generated images.
Prices and comparisons
Outwow prices and photo counts in guides are read from the same settings as the pricing page, so they change together. Prices of other apps are quoted with a link to the source and the date we checked it. When Outwow is one of the products in a comparison, the guide says so at the start.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and add a dated note under “Corrections” at the end of the guide. The “Updated” date at the top moves only when the content changes. To report a mistake, email support@outwow.app.
