Appeal a moderation decision
If we refused a request, removed a result or restricted your account, you can ask a person to take another look.

In short
- Every decision comes with a statement of reasons: the rule, how it was decided and what you can do.
- Appeal within 6 months. Someone who wasn't involved in the first decision reviews it.
- We reply by email within 48 hours, with the outcome and the reason.
What a statement of reasons tells you
When we refuse or remove something, you see a statement in the app — and get it by email for account actions — that tells you:
- What we did: refused a request, removed a result, limited a feature or suspended the account.
- Which rule applied: its name in our content rules and one line on what it covers.
- How it was decided: automatically by our filters or by a person, and whether a report started it.
- What happens next: whether anything was charged — refused requests never are — and how to appeal.
What you can appeal
- A template, tool or Create request we refused under our content rules.
- A result we removed after a report or a review.
- A limit, suspension or ban on your account.
- A report you made that we decided not to act on.
How appeals work
- Send the form below within 6 months of the decision. Include the link or ID shown with the decision, and tell us why you think it's wrong.
- Someone who wasn't involved in the original decision reviews it, with the context you give.
- We reply within 48 hours with the outcome and the reason.
- If we reverse the decision, we restore what we can: the result, your account access, or the photos the request would have used.
Appeals are free and don't affect your plan. If you're in the EU, you can also take a decision to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under Article 21 of the Digital Services Act, or to court.
An appeal can't reverse a decision about illegal content, or anything involving the sexual exploitation of children, which we report to the authorities.
