In short
- You need to be 18 or older to use Outwow.
- Upload photos of yourself, or of people who agreed to it. Photos of children only if you're their parent or legal guardian.
- Your results are yours to use personally. Premium and Ultra add commercial use, within the limits our AI providers set.
- Plans renew until you cancel. Canceling takes two clicks, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- No sexual content and no images of real people made to deceive or humiliate. When we refuse or remove something, we tell you why and you can appeal.
Who we are and what these terms cover
Outwow is operated by Moonlight Agency LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17132998, with its registered address at Office 18208, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London E6 2JA, United Kingdom. In these terms, “Outwow”, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person using the service.
These terms apply to the website at outwow.app, the dashboard, and the emails and downloads that come with them (together, the “service”). By creating an account or buying a plan you accept them, along with the privacy policy, the refund policy and the biometric data policy.
If you're a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have under the law where you live.
Who can use the service
- You must be at least 18 years old. We don't knowingly allow accounts for anyone younger, and we close them when we find them.
- Each account is for one person. Don't share it, sell it or log in as someone else.
- Keep your password and login emails safe, and tell us at support@outwow.app if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account unless it happened because of our failure.
- You can't use the service if we've banned you before, or if the law where you live doesn't allow it.
What the service does
You upload a photo and choose a template, a tool or a written prompt. We send your photo and the instructions to an AI image model, which creates a new image (a “result”). Templates are grouped for women, men, parents and pet owners. Tools include clothing and hairstyle try-ons, headshots, photo restoration, background changes, upscaling, object removal and colorizing.
Results are made by AI and vary from run to run. A result may not look exactly like you, may contain mistakes in hands, text or backgrounds, and may resemble images made for other people. Haircut, beard and color matches are style suggestions, not measurements or professional advice.
We add templates and change or retire old ones. If we remove a feature that was the main reason you bought a plan, you can cancel and ask for a refund under the refund policy.
Photos you upload
You may upload a photo only if:
- it shows you, or every adult in it has agreed to you using it this way;
- any child in it is your own child or a child in your legal care, and you use a template made for kids;
- you own the photo or have permission from whoever does; and
- it doesn't show a public figure, a celebrity or a stranger.
Some templates ask you to confirm these points with a checkbox before they run. We keep a record of each confirmation, with the date and the wording you agreed to.
You keep all rights in your photos. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, process and transmit them only to make the results you ask for, to keep the service safe (including moderation and handling reports), and to show them back to you. The license ends when the photo is deleted.
We delete uploaded photos automatically within 24 hours. We don't use your photos or results to train or improve AI models, and we don't sell them. The details are in the privacy policy.
Content rules
You may not use the service to create, upload or share:
- nudity, sexual content, or edits that undress anyone — including requests for lingerie, underwear or see-through clothing;
- anything that sexualizes a minor, edits a child's body or age, or tries clothes on a photo of a child — photos of children work only with templates made for kids. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement;
- intimate images of a real person without their consent, or images meant to harass, shame, threaten or bully someone;
- images that impersonate a real person, or that could make people believe a real person did or said something they didn't;
- images of public figures or celebrities, or requests to look like one;
- content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or hatred against people for who they are;
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
- anything illegal where you live or where we operate.
You also may not remove or hide the watermarks, “AI-generated” labels or Content Credentials we attach; present a result as an unedited photograph to deceive someone; use the service to build a competing product or a dataset; scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service; get around plan limits, daily limits or content filters; or resell access to your account.
Your results and how you can use them
As between you and us, you own the results you make, and we assign to you any rights we have in them. The law on AI-generated images is still unsettled in many countries, so we can't promise that a result is protected by copyright, or that nobody else will get a similar image.
On every plan you can use results personally: keep them, print them and post them on your own social accounts. On Premium and Ultra you can also use them commercially — for example in ads, on products you sell or for clients — as far as the terms of our AI model providers allow. If a provider narrows those terms, we'll tell you, and the narrower rule applies to results made after that date.
Results on the Free plan carry a visible watermark. Shared links show a small Outwow mark; downloads on paid plans don't. We may attach metadata or invisible marks that identify an image as AI-generated, and you agree not to remove them.
You're responsible for how you use a result, including getting the consent of anyone shown in it before you publish it.
We keep results for your plan's history window (Free and Weekly Pass: 7 days; Mini: 30 days; Basic: 90 days; Premium and Ultra: 12 months) and then delete them, or earlier if you delete them yourself. Download anything you want to keep.
Plans, photos and payment
Outwow works on subscriptions, priced in US dollars: Weekly Pass $6.99 a week; Mini $9.99 a month or $74.99 a year; Basic $19.99 a month or $149.99 a year; Premium $39.99 a month or $299.99 a year; Ultra $79.99 a month or $599.99 a year. Taxes such as VAT or sales tax are added where they apply and shown before you pay. The Free plan gives you 3 photos once, with no card.
Each plan includes a number of “photos” per week or month. A photo is a unit of use, not a single image: a Standard result costs 1 photo, HD costs 2 and Ultra costs 4, and some tools cost more. The full list is on the pricing page, and the cost is on every Generate button before you press it.
- Unused photos don't carry over to the next period. Yearly plans receive their photos in monthly portions.
- Extra photos (60 for $9.99) don't expire while your account is open.
- Each plan has a daily limit and a limit on how many images can be made at once. Both are listed on the pricing page and exist to prevent abuse.
- A generation that fails, or that we refuse under the content rules, isn't charged.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each week, month or year and charge the payment method on file until you cancel. At checkout we show the price, how often it renews and how to cancel, and we ask you to agree to automatic renewal. Before a yearly plan renews, we email you a reminder.
Canceling. Cancel anytime in Billing, in two clicks. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and then it doesn't renew. The refund policy covers refunds and the 14-day withdrawal right in the EU and UK.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, you keep access for 5 days while we retry. If it still fails, your account moves to the Free plan, and your results follow the Free plan's history window (7 days).
Price changes. We may change prices. We'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, and you can cancel before then.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Moderation, reports and appeals
We check uploads, prompts and results with automated filters and, in some cases, a person. If we refuse a request or remove a result, we tell you which rule it broke, whether the decision was automated or made by a person, and what you can do next. A refused request is never charged.
If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal the decision within 6 months. A person who wasn't involved in the first decision reviews it, and we reply within 48 hours.
Anyone, with or without an account, can report content. We remove intimate images shared without consent within 48 hours of a valid request.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, especially for serious or repeated violations. Unless it's an emergency or the law prevents it, we tell you why and give you a way to respond.
Our service and brand
The service, its software and design, the templates and example images, and the Outwow name belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service; they don't transfer any of our intellectual property to you.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Other services we rely on
Parts of the service depend on other companies: Stripe for payments, AI model providers to generate images, and hosting and email providers. Google is involved only if you choose to log in with Google. The subprocessors page lists them. We aren't responsible for third-party websites you reach through links.
Disclaimers
We work to keep the service available and the results good, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that results will meet your expectations, or that they'll suit a particular purpose.
Consumers keep the statutory rights that can't be excluded — in the EU and UK, for example, the right to a service provided with reasonable care and skill and to digital content that matches its description.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Claims caused by your content
If someone makes a claim against us because you uploaded a photo you had no right to use, or because of how you used a result, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim. This doesn't apply where consumer law doesn't allow it, or to losses we caused ourselves.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end these terms or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break them, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the service.
If we close the service for any reason other than your breach, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid period. Terms that by their nature should last — such as ownership of results, limits on liability and how disputes are resolved — continue after the agreement ends.
Disputes and governing law
Please contact us first at support@outwow.app — most problems are solved there. If we can't agree within 60 days, the following applies.
If you live in the EU or the UK, these terms are governed by the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. You can also use your country's consumer dispute resolution bodies.
If you live in the United States, you and we agree to resolve any dispute by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and we waive the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action or class arbitration. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@outwow.app within 30 days of first accepting these terms.
Everywhere else, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service and the law change. For a material change we email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page always shows the current version. If you don't agree with a change, you can cancel before it applies; using the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
General
- These terms and the policies they link to are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
- If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
- You can't transfer your account or these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them to a company that takes over the service; your rights stay the same.
- We contact you by email and in the app, so keep your email address up to date.
