Tell us about an image made with Outwow that shows you or someone else without consent, involves a child, or breaks our rules. You don't need an account.

In short

  • Intimate images shared without consent are removed within 48 hours of a valid request, along with identical copies we find.
  • Child sexual abuse material is removed at once and reported to NCMEC.
  • You get a reference number straight away, and an email when we've acted.

What you can report

  • An intimate or sexual image of a real person made or shared without their consent, including one made with AI.
  • Sexual content involving a minor, or a child's photo used to harm them.
  • An image that impersonates a real person, or shows them doing or saying something they didn't.
  • Harassment, threats or hateful images aimed at someone.
  • Your photo or artwork used without your permission.

If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.

Removal requests under the TAKE IT DOWN Act

If an intimate image of you was published without your consent, you can ask us to remove it. A valid request includes:

  • a link to the image, or enough detail for us to find it, such as a share link or the email of the account that made it;
  • a short statement that you believe in good faith the image was published without the consent of the person shown;
  • your signature — typing your full name in the form counts; and
  • an email address where we can reach you.

You can make the request yourself, or on behalf of the person shown if you're authorized to act for them. We remove the image within 48 hours of a valid request and make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies on our service.

Child sexual abuse material

Don't send us the image, and don't download or share it — not even to report it. Give us the link or a description. We remove it, preserve evidence as the law requires, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. You can also report it directly at report.cybertip.org.

What happens after you report

  1. You see a reference number as soon as you send the form, and get it by email too.
  2. A person reviews every report. Reports about intimate images and children go to the front of the queue.
  3. If the content breaks our rules or the law, we remove it and may suspend or ban the account that made it.
  4. We email you what we did. The account holder gets a statement of reasons and can appeal.

Reports made in bad faith — for example to silence or harass someone — may lead to action against the account that made them.
