How to make an AI F1 race-day photo
An AI F1 photo of you at the race starts from one waist-up photo: Race Day in a Ferrari Cap puts you in a sunny VIP grandstand above the track, one hand on a red Ferrari cap with 16 on the brim, the other holding a glass of white wine, under a deep blue sky. A run costs 1 photo on the Free plan, and a new account's 3 free photos cover the first tries.
- Upload a waist-up photo or a close selfie in daylight, without sunglasses: the template adds its own pair, and your eyes and face shape have to come from the photo first.
- Press Create (1 photo). The grandstand, the cap, the wine and the pose are fixed; the outfit follows the person in the photo.
- Open the result at full size and look at the hands: one grips the cap brim, the other a stemmed glass, and fingers are where a run slips first.
What changed after the first test round?
We ran it on two AI-generated sample people. In the first round the sky came out pale, her nails nude and the red bag missing, and the man broke into a wide grin in all three tries, which didn't suit his serious face. The template now asks for a deep cloudless sky, one small red bag on one shoulder (a try in between drew two), pink-and-red nail art on both hands and, on a man's photo, a calm smile with the mouth closed.
The 16 is printed on the brim in bold white digits. On her run it came out slanted, readable at full size but thin on a small thumbnail; on his it stands upright and is the clearest of all our runs. The Ferrari cap and the Miu Miu sunglasses are part of the look, as the trend photo has them.
What can you use it for?
- A race-weekend story when you are watching from the couch.
- Two friends, two runs: each on their own photo, for a pair of matching posts.
- A summer profile picture with a sporty look and the face in sharp focus.
What does an example run look like?

Result
From the AI-generated test photo on the left: her long hair, freckles and face shape carried over; the cap, glasses, top, bag and wine came from the template. Her smile came out wider than the slight one the template asks for. - AI-generated sample input
Result
On a man's photo: a denim shirt over a white tee, one gold chain and a calm, closed-mouth smile. His tattoos and pencil mustache stayed; the chain came out heavier than the thin one he wears.
How do I get a better result?
- Wear your hair however you like in the photo: the template lets it fall loose and keeps its length, color and texture.
- Show your shoulders and arms if you can. The result is framed from the waist up, and a waist-up upload gives the template your build to keep.
- Skip photos where a hand or a phone covers part of your face. One hand goes up to the cap brim, and the face under it must come from your picture.
What goes wrong most often?
- Expecting a team or driver of your choice. The red cap, the number and the sunglasses are fixed.
- Uploading a photo in sunglasses. The template brings its own pair and still needs your eyes from the photo.
- Treating it as an ad. Ferrari and Miu Miu are real brands, so keep the picture as a personal post.
