Your superhero movie moment from one selfie: you crouch on the very edge of a glass skyscraper at golden hour, one hand on the ledge, with the whole city spread out far below in warm sunset haze. No costume and no mask: you are the hero in your own streetwear, with your real face, hair and build, shot like the hero frame of a blockbuster.

How to make a superhero movie still of yourself with AI
To convert your photo into a superhero movie still with AI, upload one selfie to Hero Over the City. You come back as the hero of a blockbuster frame, crouched on the edge of a glass skyscraper at golden hour with the city hundreds of meters below, in a plain hoodie and jeans: no suit, no mask. Your face, hair and build stay yours. One run costs 1 photo on any plan, and a new account's first 3 photos are free.
- Choose a close daylight selfie with one face, no sunglasses and no filter, as the Your selfie slot asks. The clothes you wore in it don't matter.
- Hit Create; one hero still costs 1 photo. Rooftop, sunset light and outfit come with the template; there are no options.
- Save the still from My creations. The exact pose changes from run to run, so run it again for a different crouch.
How is the hero shot set up?
The scene puts the camera on the same rooftop about two meters from you, at eye level, with a 35mm lens, and asks for the crouching figure to fill about two-thirds of the frame height, with your face large and sharp, from the front or at three-quarters. It also asks for your tower to be the tallest, with other roofs far below and open sky behind your head; in both runs below, a glass wall still rose beside the figure. The low sun draws a gold rim on your hair and shoulders. Your build is kept: no added muscle, no slimming, no heroic V-shaped torso.
There is one scene. A second one, a night rooftop chase, was tested in 8 runs and dropped: the street below kept growing readable signs, a label kept appearing on the jacket lining, and the face drifted away from the photo.

Made from the synthetic test selfie on the left. His face and short fade carried over; the smile became a calm hero look, and he steadies himself on the glass wall of his tower instead of gripping the edge. - AI-generated sample input

Made from the synthetic test selfie on the left: her hair length and face carried over, in an olive hoodie. She kneels on a parapet rather than crouching on the very edge, and a neighboring glass tower rises beside her.
Which selfie gives the clearest hero frame?
- Expect a calm, focused face whatever your selfie shows. The scene asks for quiet confidence, and in our run on a smiling selfie the smile turned into a serious hero look.
- Style your hair before the selfie as you'd like it on the roof. Its length, cut and texture are kept, and the wind is told to keep it off your face, so a fringe still leaves both eyes visible.
- Keep a beard, stubble or glasses as you want them on the roof; the scene asks for them exactly as they are in the photo. Everything below the chin is replaced by the rooftop outfit.
What goes wrong most often?
- Expecting the exact outfit from your photo. Your "own streetwear" here is always a plain hoodie in charcoal, black, olive or navy with the hood down, dark jeans and sneakers, with no logos or labels.
- Uploading a child's selfie. This template is made for adults; for a kid in a bright two-color suit and cape, use Little Hero with Role set to Superhero; a parent confirms before each run.
- Using a photo with friends in it. The Your selfie slot asks for one face, and the hero appears once and alone on the roof.

Works well
- Your face close to the camera, looking straight in
- Daylight from a window in front of you
- Only you in the frame
Avoid
- Sunglasses, masks or hair over your eyes
- Beauty filters and heavy edits
- Dark rooms and photos taken from far away
