Portraits

Oil paintings, watercolors and your pet as a person. The fur color comes straight from your photo.

Portraits worth a gilded frame

Pet portraits are the classic gift: your cat or dog as an old-master aristocrat in velvet and lace, a loose watercolor on white paper, or imagined as a person with hair the color of their fur. Breed & Traits Card reads the most likely breed or mix from the photo and lists what that breed is known for, and Royal Portrait With My Pet paints you and your pet together in one gilded frame.

The fur color, markings and eyes come straight from your photo, so the result is recognizably your pet rather than a stock animal. That is also why the photo matters most: a small or dark picture can shift the fur color. Each portrait costs 1 photo at Standard; if you plan to print and frame it, choose HD (Basic and up) or Ultra 4K (Premium and up).

How to get the best photo

  1. A close-up in daylight, with the eyes open and visible.
  2. Get down to your pet's eye level instead of shooting from above.
  3. Avoid dark rooms and tiny crops: they can change the fur color.
  4. For the breed card, show the whole pet from the side or at three-quarters.
